My School's Cool
Get Ready to Shop, Earn and Learn!
Deerbrook Mall is partnering with Humble ISD schools on a program, “My School’s Cool,” where local schools earn points during the 2011-2012 academic year and compete for a $20,000 total donation from Deerbrook Mall.
“My School’s Cool” is a special community driven program, committed to building relationships with the community by providing cash to local schools, while enticing shoppers to shop Deerbrook Mall. The program kicks off Monday, August 15, 2011 and runs until May, 2012.
The registration is open for schools who want to participate in the program and earn points for their school based on Deerbrook Mall receipts, school involvement and opportunities for “extra credit”.
At the end of the school year the points will be tallied and a total of $20,000 will be donated to participating schools, with special considerations given to the top schools receiving the most points.
Each dollar at the mall earns the participating school one point, receipts will be rounded to the next dollar at .51 cents.
Receipts from Aeropostale, Aldo, AMC Theatre, Barnes & Noble, Buckle, Build-a-Bear, Chick-fil-A, Coach, Forever 21, Francesca’s Collection, Gamestop, Hollister, Sarku Japan, Select Comfort Vans, and Visible Changes earn double points.
Customers can simply write the name of the school on the back of their store receipt and place it in the designated slot or bin for their school at the Deerbrook Mall MSC display located on First Level by Sears Wing.
If a customer wishes to retain their mall receipt, they can request a point pass from the Deerbrook Mall Office or Barnes & Noble Customer Service and place the point pass in the appropriate locker for their school.
