Deerbrook Mall supports Houston Habitat for Humanity

Deerbrook Mall has partnered with Houston Habitat for Humanity to work on elimination of poverty housing in our community. This is a part of national partnership between General Growth Properties, (Deerbrook's owner/management company) and Habitat for Humanity International.

Over the next three years, shoppers will be invited to participate in fundraising events, awareness campaigns and volunteer opportunities to benefit Houston Habitat for Humanity.

A decorative coin canister is now located on the mall's lower level by the children's play area. Customers can now deposit coins or bills into the container, partnering with Habitat for Humanity to help build homes and eliminate poverty housing in our community.

AMBER Alert Notifications Uniting America to Protect All Children

The first few hours are the most important when it comes to finding missing children. When there is an active AMBER Alert in the community, signage will be placed in the mall in high traffic locations. Thousands of shoppers will have access to the information, giving tremendous advantage to law enforcement working against the clock to reunite these children with their families.
